I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I attended an arts school for a majority of my life while also taking honors classes. In my senior year of high school I was able to take 2 college courses at Macomb Community College which gave me a head start in my college career.

I graduated from Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina with honors and a BA in Film and Interactive Media. During my undergraduate career, I worked with the campus Radio & Television station WAUG. I was the host of the campus news show “The W.I.F.I” and the music video show “Shuffle.”  During my undergraduate years I worked for UNC-TV on the show, Black Issues Forum as a production assistant.

I am currently an American University Graduate student, studying Broadcast Journalism out of  Washington, D.C. I have taking the skills I have learned in the program to focus souly on my passion which is Entertainment reporting. I currently write pieces for two entertainment driven websites where I offer opinion, as well as conduct interviews with actors, writers, business owners.
